My name's Naomi and I'm writing a novel.
A dire confession, I know, but I can't get better until I admit I've got a problem.

This deviantart account is to help me to develop the universe in which my story will take place. Oh yes, universe. It's that kind of story. There are gods and people and myriad animals on four different planets across the reach of a single solar system. I hope to upload to this account maps, species reference sheets, mythological accounts and more so hopefully I'll get better at writing, I'll get it done, and maybe even gain a few future readers. If people are interested, I'm also keen to do some adoptables of any species I design that turns out to be popular - the more people see, the better. I'll be counting on your opinions entirely, though. I'd love to hear your feedback and ideas, your critique on my species and especially your blatant disbelief in any pseudo-science I attempt to spout because the more realistic I can make it the better. Nothing I've written here is a definite, it's all susceptible to change.

Now, I really don't know when any of my work will get put up, so I'll leave you with just a few (stress on the FEW) lines of myth just to whet your little appetites.




The stories of the creation of the universe are as complex as they are diverse, but there is one factor which every inhabitant of the four planets of the solar system agrees on;

It all began with an ending.

Although very few of them know for sure exactly what that means, they are all certain that it is the undeniable truth. One ending, of fantastic proportions, led not only to the birth of their universe (which is undoubtedly one of many), but to the birth of their four gods. These gods' names have been lost to forgotten tongues, but can be remembered as the Goddess Ta, maker of the tranquil planet Tabit, the Goddess Cia, ruler of the unforgiving Lim, the Goddess Reed, creator of the planet called Peace, and the God CaAl, who made no people but is said to have two bodies, and to reside on the lonely planet Sophy.




A little bit of background is all you'll get for now. Hopefully there'll be more to read (and look at) real soon.
